With Golive Automations, each time something happens on your Environments, you can trigger:

  • A Slack notification

  • A MS Teams message

  • An Email

  • A Webhook

Here are some examples:

  • Send an automated MS Teams message to your QA Team on their #qa-team channel, each time the UAT Environments statuses are updated in Golive

  • Send an automated custom email to your Release Managers distribution list, each time a bug is raised on any Staging Environment

  • Trigger a Webhook that will call your cloud platform in order to start/stop the instance, each time an Environment “active/inactive” attribute is updated in Golive

“Apwide Administrator” permission is needed in order to manage Automations.

Access Automations

Open Automations from the Settings menu on the Golive Home Page and Project Pages.

The main Automations screen show you the list of all your Automations:

  • Enable/Disable an Automation using the Active toggle

  • Click on the title of an Automation to edit it

  • Click on the Executions status to open the Automation execution logs

Create an Automation

Create a new Automation using the “Add Automation” button on the top right corner.
In the first step, choose the kind of Automation:
